Have You Heard All The Talk About The HCG Diet?

The HCG diet is a low-calorie diet helped by special drops. On a low calorie diet, the body burns up the day's calorie intake earlier and begins to burn fat as a source of fuel instead. Low calorie diets themselves force the body to burn more fat once calories run out, but the addition of the special drops helps to maintain muscle mass during this process. Negative side effects, such as fatigue or irritability, which are known to accompany low-calorie diets can be avoided with the aid of HCG drops. The body's method of fat management, including the use of calorie consumption, is reorganized with the HCG diet. There are three stages in the special diet starting with the introduction phase, the training phase, and the final maintenance phase.

The special diet begins with a high calorie intake while beginning use of the HCG drops supplement. The body's fat regulation process is altered in this initial phase to help ensure that, during the lower calorie intake phase of the diet, the metabolism will burn fat. The period of low-calorie intake in the diet is helped by the initial high-calorie phase as it reduces excess hunger throughout the diet process. During the second phase of the special diet, the body is beginning to use stored fat as fuel and the initiation of a low-calorie diet will help to ensure that it continues to do so.

The final phase of the diet, known as the maintenance stage, starts when the drops have successfully altered the body's metabolism. Calorie intake begins to increase back to normal levels, and the use of formula is no longer necessary in the maintenance phase of the special diet.

The body's new, rearranged fat-burning process should not be disrupted by higher calorie intake, and the increase should be done slowly. Closely monitoring weight in the maintenance phase of the diet will help to keep the body's new fat-handling procedures during the increase of calorie intake.

Just light exercise is recommended throughout the diet plan because of the low-calorie intake. Because there are fewer calories used for energy, heavy exercise could cause starvation and fatigue as the calories are used sooner. The program has no recognized side effects and, when used by women, the hormones in the drops have no effect on the menstrual cycle. Pregnant women are not advised to use the program, as they are likely to see little to no results because of higher calorie intakes necessary for nourishment during pregnancy.
